If you haven't been to a rock show in second life, then get your initiation with Micki Underwood. The rl seattle musician is just what rock needs in sl. Opening under the night sky at Boogie Beach, Micki, complete with flaming guitar and and an av that struts, sways, and kicks her way through her repetoire, her rendition of Breakdown was nothing less than sensational. Micki is definately about rock, but she does it with a laid back, i don't give a damn attitude that is not only refreshing but contagious. Following up with Ghost Riders In The Storm and Dirty Deeds showed Micki's versatility with her guitar prowess.
Micki is the sl version of rl musician Rockin Michelle and I was lucky enough to catch the rl version last year. The sl version is every bit as good.

The 40 or so people in attendance were in awe of this talented guitar player who's riffs made us all quiver. Highlights of her show were a strong Rocky Mountain Way and a disappearing act before tping back and finishing in the middle of the dance floor. By the time she got down to her last couple songs, Micki had whipped us into a frenzy. After tackling Lynard Skynard, she finished her show with an absorbing cover of BB King's Thrill is Gone
Unlike so many sl acts, Micki not only delivers with her voice, but with an amazing guitar and stage movements to keep you focused. There are a lot of fine acts in sl and please go see them, but if you wanna rock, go see Micki Underwood.
