Hi and welcome to "Thump", the nightlife in second life blog. I'm Jenny Heying, the publisher and I'll give you the highlights of what we plan to do with this blog. I won't do any of the writing, well maybe the odd article. Editor Jeb Ahn and her staff of contributing writers will be posting reviews of performers and venues in second life. There will also be the occasional interview as well.

The main idea behind this blog is to inform sl residents of the various performers and venues available in second life. Our hope is to provide reviews to give you an idea of who to look for, what to expect and where to find them. We'll give you our opinion of the performers, their shows and the type of songs they sing. While we really don't want to pan anyone, we will try to be as honest as possible to give you enough info. Same goes for the clubs. We'll review the clubs and let you know what you can expect when you go there, whether it's live music or dj's, adult or not and anything else we feel is pertinent.

Links are a wonderful thing. If you'd like to ad us as a link on your page or blog, please do. If you'd like your link added to this page, send me the club slurl or performers web site to me inworld.

At the moment, we'll take ads for venues or other businesses on a first come first serve basis. First in gets top ad in the sight, second in gets second from the top and so on. You move up as ads are removed. Rates may change in the future, but right now it's 300L per week for the main page, $L250 for the link pages, $L100 for the writers page and the ad can be no bigger than 200x200.
