FABLE SINATRA "A Little Sunshine"

Opening with an upbeat version of First Cut Is The Deepest, Fable Sinatra led an appreciative crowd at JSP Festival Stage through a melodic wonderland.

Fable Sinatra is a 23 year singer songwriter who hails from Leicestershire, England and has been making her mark on the sl live music circuit. Her sweet voice is somewhat Jewel like yet at times teases of a raspier tone. While her voice is soft and omg, i love British accents, her song selection is not. After showing her sensual side with For My Lover, Fable gave us a lively version of Sunshine and Baby Can I Hold You. Covers of You Can Call Me Al and Brown Eyed Girl gave us a glimpse into a slightly more rocking version of Fable.

Fable accompanies her self adequately on acoustic guitar and her goth like av commands a presence on stage. She has a delightful personality and is extremely light with the audience. This small crowd of a little over 20 people bantered with Fable and she back. She not only addresses the crowd verbally but throws in the odd typed chat as well. Aside from a slight technical problem that gave me two versions of Fable at the same time (order of songs might be a bit different), Fable was simply incredible.

Her set list also included Wish You Were Here, Fix You, Mr Tamborine Man and Breakfast In America (with Cheesecake)

Fable is casual about her performance, but there was nothing casual about the quality. She can sing, and while her guitar is adequate, it fits nicely with the style she offers.
