STELLA SILVANKSY "Romantic At Heart"

.
There are strong voices, there are unique voices, there are gruff voices and there are voices of every kind in Second Life ™. Stella Silvansky has a voice that is not a lot different from most here but what it does have is that feeling of romanticism. Her voice brings out the sadness and happiness of love, lost love and unrequited love. Her voice leads you on a journey through the romances of your life, both good and bad, but you know, you feel all right in the end. From Just Like Heaven to Kiss Me, Stella is all about romance. Love songs abound and your get goosebumps listening to her and thinking about the past loves in your life. On Chasing Pavement, she leads you down the road of confusion and indecision.

Stella is not for the weak of heart, or rather if your heart has been broken, she's bound to bring up old memories. You can't help but drip a tear or two when she sings Cry Me A River. The refreshing part of a Stella Silvansky performance is that you don't get rehashed overdone songs. You get the feeling she lives her songs and you fall in love along with her.

And back to her voice, well it's hard to describe, but it fits so well with the songs she sings. It's not a harsh or raspy voice, and it's not a soft and loving voice. It's a voice that seems to tell it like it is. She pulls no punches and gives you the facts on love.

Stella projects well and her backing tracks are clear and unassuming leaving her voice to carry the show as it should. You know the music is there but it's Stella voice that lures you.

Stella looks every bit the part of a romantic songstress. This night at Bubbly nightclub in a Silver/white formal outfit that probably contributed to a few more broken hearts. She would fit in at any fashionable ballroom past or present. Or rather the ballrooms would fit in with her.

This night, the Western Maine songstress kept the 40 or so in attendance soothed and languishing in heaven. The upbeat part of her set included Bubbly and I know, it's not really that upbeat but for a romantic it is. When You Say Nothing At All, The Way I Am and Only Hope continue you on your Stella led journey through life's passionate moments. Finishing with The Song Remembers When , Come Away With Me, Dream A Little Dream Of Me, There Is No Arizona and Someone To Watch Out Over Me (acappella) puts closure not only to a great set but to your reminiscing and ends the journey through love.

For a romantic evening, a Barry White cd is still the ultimate, Stella singing on a quiet night at home with your boyfriend isn't far behind. Actually I think I'd prefer it.

And what could be more fitting on a romantic night than a proposal. Yes Stella read a note from one of her fans proposing to his girlfriend. Kinda gave me goosebumps but it's what you'd expect when you see Stella. You might think it happens a fair bit with Stella, but I'm not sure.

You don't have to be in love to appreciate Stella, nor do you have to have lost loves or be lost in love. But it sure helps. And after all, haven't we all been there. Stella just kinda brings it out in the open .For the romantic in you, please venture out and listen to an amazing voice and shed a tear or two.
