TRUELIE TELLING "Comedic Beatnik"

.
I wasn't sure what to expect when i tp'd over to 5 O'clock Somewhere to catch Truelie Telling. Reading the event notice "So if you've ever pondered on your SL relationship or had a problem finding everything else but your hair among other themes - come and hear Trulie's very funny take on SL" had me intrigued. If Jimmy Buffet is intriguing, then Trulie is astonishing. I'm not that familiar with the tunes she did, but "Second Life Blues" had me in stitches. Trulie is simply put, an entertainer. Cute, Funny, and on "Happy Hour" she came out of her shell. Well actually, Trulie never was in a shell. She's the kind of person who would always be the life of the party, the one with the joke, the one with the crowd around her.

Trulie's a story teller extraordinaire. Not only in her songs but in her between song anecdotes. Always acknowledging the people in the crowd and with her slightly twangy voice, you are amused. Well okay you find it funny, but in a good way.Truelie really is the baby beatnik who growed up in the hippy dippy stoned ages (the '60's).

Trulie sings about all that is so true in second life, hair in your butt, no shoes, boys who are girls and the whole linden lag/crash thing. She tells it like it is (in second life). "Where's My Hair" is a classic second life song that we all know too well. With songs like "Mama's In A Bad Mood Tonight", "Is It Cheating, If You're Meeting In Second Life" and "Boy Crazy" give you an idea of what to expect with Ms Telling.

A small but very appreciative crowd enjoyed Truelie's intoxicating show. The Extreme Island Sim was in awe of this comedic performer. Truelie Telling is worth every Linden she gets and that you pay. Actually, she's worth a whole lot more. If you are looking for live music with a definite comedic twist, Truelie will deliver it to you.
And really what defines second life (and Truelie) is "In My Second Life", a song we can all relate too and take note, second life is real.

She sings, plays guitar, tells stories and is extremely funny. What more could you really want in second life?
